THE APO-K2 CATALOG
The APO-K2 catalog combined spectroscopic data from APOGEE, with asteroseismically derived parameters from K2 and kinematics information from Gaia to create a catalog of ~8,000 evolved stars that describe different angles to the plane of the Milky Way with a well-understood selection function. This catalog is ideal for the implementation of Galactic Archaeology.
